1. Information We Collect
We collect the following information when you use the App:
- Account information: Email address, provided during sign-up via Supabase Authentication.
- Date of birth: Collected during onboarding to verify you meet the minimum age requirement (16+). Stored locally on your device only.
- Usage and progress data: Learning progress, experience points (XP), streaks, completed lessons, earned achievements, and league participation. Stored in our database to sync your progress across sessions.
- Crash and error data: If crash reporting is enabled, device type, operating system version, and error stack traces are collected via Sentry to help us fix bugs. No personal content is included.
- Subscription data: Purchase and subscription status is managed by RevenueCat, which receives transaction data from Apple. We do not store your payment details.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and personalise the App experience (progress tracking, streaks, achievements)
- To authenticate your account and sync data across sessions
- To manage your subscription and premium access
- To diagnose and fix technical issues via crash reporting
- To send optional learning reminders and streak notifications (you can disable these in device settings)

4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely in Supabase with row-level security (RLS) enabled on all tables, meaning you can only access your own data. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Export your data: Available in the App under Settings. Your data is exported as a JSON file.
- Delete your account: Available in the App under Settings. This permanently deletes your account and all associated data from our servers. This action cannot be undone.
- Opt out of notifications: Disable notifications in your device settings at any time.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for users aged 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 16, we will delete that information promptly.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all data is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by updating the effective date above.
